Registration will be open at the Anaheim Convention Center at the following times:

CONFERENCE LOCATION

Convention Center
Due to the size of the ALA Annual Conference, the event takes place in a convention center and several hotels. For the 2012 Annual Conference, the exhibits, keynote speakers, and meetings and programs will be held at the Anaheim Convention  Center located at 800 West Katella Ave. Anaheim, CA 92802.

Official Hotels (hotel map and rates)
Two hotels are designated "Headquarter" and "Co-Headquarter" hotels, and will host meetings, programs and special events. Several more hotels will host some events, and additional hotels will be part of the ALA hotel block to include sleeping rooms. Airport Transportation Information
Four Airports service the Orange County area:

• John Wayne Orange County Airport (SNA) 20 minutes, 13 miles/21 km to Anaheim
• Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) 50 minutes, 35 miles/56 km to Anaheim
• Ontario International Airport (ONT) 45 minutes,  36 miles/58 km to Anaheim
• Long Beach Airport (LGB) 30 minutes, 18 miles/29 km to Anaheim

Bus Travel
Greyhound: Greyhound buses arrive and depart daily from the station at 100 W. Winston Road. For information, contact Greyhound at 800-229-9424 or go online at www.greyhound.com.

Amtrak
Anaheim is served by the Pacific Surfliner line at the station at 2150 East Katella Ave. Connections from other Amtrak lines can be made in Los Angeles. Amtrack offers a 10% discount off the lowest available rail fare to Anaheim, CA between June 18, 2012 - June 29, 2012. To book your reservation call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Please refer to Convention Fare Code X61J-944 when making your  reservation to receive the 10% discount. Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service.  Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts.  Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.

Public Transit

Anaheim also offers the Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) Service, a visitor shuttle system that provides access to dining, shopping and attractions. The ART provides access to the Disney parks, the Anaheim Convention Center, and several hotels in the ALA hotel block and other locations in the area. Passes are available for $4 a day, or a seven day pass is available for $20.
